2026 BUYER GUIDE

QC Photo Checklist

Warehouse quality-control photos help you decide whether the received item matches the listing closely enough to ship. Use this checklist before approving a parcel, especially when return windows are short.

Start with the full item

  1. Confirm that the item, color, size and quantity match your order.
  2. Check the overall silhouette from the front, back and side. Look for twisting, uneven panels or obvious deformation.
  3. Compare the warehouse photos with the seller images, while remembering that lighting and camera exposure can change color.

Inspect construction and condition

Zoom in on stitching, seams, hems, zippers, buttons and printed or embroidered areas. Check whether paired parts are aligned and symmetrical. For shoes, compare both toe boxes, heel height, sole shape and panel placement. Look for stains, scratches, glue marks, loose threads and transit damage.

Ask for useful extra photos

Request additional photos when an important area is hidden, blurred or outside the frame. Useful requests include a measurement tape across the chest or insole, close-ups of hardware, the care label, the sole, and any suspected defect. Describe the exact angle needed rather than asking only for "more QC."

Practical reminderQC photos reduce uncertainty but cannot prove material composition, long-term durability or authenticity. Base your decision on visible evidence and the seller's return policy.

QC photo questions

What should I check first?

Verify the ordered model, color, size and quantity before examining smaller details.

Can lighting make colors look different?

Yes. Warehouse lighting, white balance and screen settings can all affect color. Ask for a neutral-light photo if color accuracy matters.
